SD Surf - not that they needed any help, but perhaps a bit of home cooking scheduling going on here. #7 isnt slowing down anytime soon, really neat to watch her develop. I think Surf Hawaii could have been placed in this bracket.
MB7 works about as hard as any kid there is. One v One you should cancel Xmas. She is as good as advertised. This isn’t a one pony show, however. Some nice talent all over the pitch.

Slammers - great to see Galaxy moved up to super black where they belong, but i am going to give the edge to Slammers as they are generally a very consistent high level team who moves the ball well.
Slammers are fantastic and PA always sets this squad up to do great things. Top to bottom they are a force. I’m liking what I have seen from LAG. Playing the right way, and coached the right way. Could go either direction.
C
Albion - I think Blues is still getting used to some new players being added to the roster. I like watching Albion play good team ball, and I think that play will be too much for Blues to slow down that penetration.
Blues will always be in contention. Fantastic center mid who can score from anywhere inside the midline. Great goalkeeper.
Which Albion squad shows up? MW will have them ready and they also have great talent. Pack it in or play the style that allows them to break you down?

Tough call, but I will go with Eagles. - RealCO did great in Supercopa including a great win over Slammers, but they may have had an advantage since this tourney was in Denver at 5200 ft elevation where RealCO live/train. Surf Hawaii I need more information on, but did well in Vegas, so I suspect they are right in the mix as well in this bracket.
Good call with the elevation. Any time you go on the road with a bunch of 11 year olds anything can happen. To be able to take down Slammers by “3” is saying something. Eagles have some very dangerous weapons top to bottom. Excellent GK, center back is fantastic (big fan), and a striker that is tremendous. I’m calling this one as the game of the weekend.
We have all seen what happens to the so called top teams in the nation when they come to So Cal.
Overall, I think this year is much higher level of play on average vs last year with a bunch of exciting teams to watch that could win. Looking forward to watching some of the out of state teams as well, these are the ages when they start to really put together some strong teams.
Good luck to everybody this weekend!
