SILVER ELITE
Anybody know when teams and brackets will be released?

Schedules back up. Only change was in bracket B San jose Surf dropped to Super White and LA Galaxy SB added to Super Black

A) SD Surf
B) LA Galaxy
C) Blues
D) Real Colorado

Personally I’d like to see an all So Cal semi.
Should be another great battle between LAG and Slammers. Toss up really. I’m just going against the chalk here.
Blues vs Albion is always a tight one. Will depend on who is hot that day. I give the edge to the Blues keeper.
Real vs Eagles is also intriguing. If KP can find space up top she is dangerous against anybody.

Pools A, B, and C are easier. Agree with A and C, Slammers are always strong so going with them in B. Biggest wildcard is Pool D. Always interesting when northern CA and out of state teams come into the picture. Aftershock and Real CO have great reputations so it should be interesting. Good luck to all.

Group A SD Surf
Group B Slammers
Group C Blues ( keeper is the difference)
Group D Eagles

A
SD Surf - not that they needed any help, but perhaps a bit of home cooking scheduling going on here. #7 isnt slowing down anytime soon, really neat to watch her develop. I think Surf Hawaii could have been placed in this bracket.

B
Slammers - great to see Galaxy moved up to super black where they belong, but i am going to give the edge to Slammers as they are generally a very consistent high level team who moves the ball well.

C
Albion - I think Blues is still getting used to some new players being added to the roster. I like watching Albion play good team ball, and I think that play will be too much for Blues to slow down that penetration.

D
Tough call, but I will go with Eagles. - RealCO did great in Supercopa including a great win over Slammers, but they may have had an advantage since this tourney was in Denver at 5200 ft elevation where RealCO live/train. Surf Hawaii I need more information on, but did well in Vegas, so I suspect they are right in the mix as well in this bracket.

Overall, I think this year is much higher level of play on average vs last year with a bunch of exciting teams to watch that could win. Looking forward to watching some of the out of state teams as well, these are the ages when they start to really put together some strong teams.

MB7 works about as hard as any kid there is. One v One you should cancel Xmas. She is as good as advertised. This isn’t a one pony show, however. Some nice talent all over the pitch.

Slammers are fantastic and PA always sets this squad up to do great things. Top to bottom they are a force. I’m liking what I have seen from LAG. Playing the right way, and coached the right way. Could go either direction.

Blues will always be in contention. Fantastic center mid who can score from anywhere inside the midline. Great goalkeeper.
Which Albion squad shows up? MW will have them ready and they also have great talent. Pack it in or play the style that allows them to break you down?

Good call with the elevation. Any time you go on the road with a bunch of 11 year olds anything can happen. To be able to take down Slammers by “3” is saying something. Eagles have some very dangerous weapons top to bottom. Excellent GK, center back is fantastic (big fan), and a striker that is tremendous. I’m calling this one as the game of the weekend.

We have all seen what happens to the so called top teams in the nation when they come to So Cal.

Good luck to everybody this weekend!

Have to agree with you on Real. Eagles coach has an up hill battle undoing the short cuts taken the last few years. May have a special player, but as they get older teams win championships

Nice to see yall at least admit Supercopa happened. Appears the usual suspects will advance.

I'll take the Eagles vs Real today, looks like other pools settled barring an big upset.

I see it's
Surf v Eagles
Albion v Slammers

Congratulations to these 4 teams getting thru bracket play at Surf Cup -- no easy task.

Surf V Slammers Final

Albion looking good but I believe Slammers will have the edge

Surf looks strong, not missing a beat. Eagles have who I believe is the best player #5, (yes I know 7 on Surf) but I do not believe overall they have the team to beat Surf.

Good luck to all 4, was fun to watch everyone this weekend!!!

Good Luck to everyone playing in semifinals today!!!! 4 very TALENTED TEAMS that consistently play good soccer.
Takes more than one player to consistently finish in the top 4!!!;);););)
Good luck and good health everyone! !!!

Forgive me if my comment came out as not giving credit to the TEAMS. All 4 teams are incredibly talented and have been for years hence why you see them time and time again in the final 4. Good Luck!
