What happened to SCDSL spring league?

Lack of teams who wanted to participate, but EGSL ultimately killed it.
It's cheaper and easier to just schedule friendlies. No games at 8 am (unless you want them). No games inland where it can be too hot (unless you want them). You can pick who you play to either challenge your team by playing a bit out of your depth or play an equal or weaker team to work on some things.
The only thing that you have to pay for is a referee and sometimes they are even free.
