Spring Season

Anyone with kids that played in NCAA women’s spring games that could tell me what it is all about? Are they basically scrimmages?

Depends on the school and the coach. Some programs use the spring season to test new players and sort out areas of growth the team needs and wants to really challenge the team with highly competitive opponents. They are official games and there are scores, referees, etc /They may or may not post schedules. They may or may not post scores. Often the games are not televised or live streamed so if your player is out of the area from where you live you may have to travel to the school to watch the game in person if you have that opportunity.

Yes. They are basically scrimmages. Each coach uses it for his/her own purpose. They want to see what they have on their roster and what the team needs to work or look for.
