Why Futsal?
Fabulous for youth soccer players, the game of Futsal develops technical skill and ability. In the tight spaces of the five-a-side game (5 players against 5 players) technique matters. Unlike soccer, players enjoy hundreds of touches on the ball as the sphere speeds across the smooth, glossy floor of the court. In Futsal, players often find themselves one-on-one against an opponent and quick decision making is important. With the opposition constantly attacking, maintaining possession of the ball is critical and this helps develop great passing skills. World famous soccer professionals Pele, Ronaldo, Messi, Kaka, Iniesta, Xavi and Fabregas all attribute Futsal to helping their performance on the soccer field.

not that I mind driving to Norwalk or HB for futsal, but what about 2008 and older kids, not looking to join any leagues just looking for a opportunity for my kid to play with new kids on a weekly basis as pick up games. The one in HB has a really smooth program that we were recently introduced too and they mix 10-12 yr olds for a hour and a 1/2. cost is 10 dollars, and there's always a waiting list. Does Momentous or you plan on opening any more ages groups?

Thank you for inquiring about our program. Its great you hear you guys are already playing Futsal. Our mission is the help grow the sport in South Orange County.
To answer your question... For Sunday Pickup Games currently we are taking Boys and Girls born 2013-2008.
-Sundays 2009/2008 6:30-7:30pm

In March we are launching our 2005-2007 program as well. We are a brand new Futsal Academy here in Irvine and plan on quickly expanding our age groups.
