Baseball reviews home runs. NFL reviews every scoring play, even though teams routinely score 20-40 points a game. In soccer, a goal or two decides nearly every match. What a joke. What a "beautiful game."
NFL has 7 officials, all with flags and whistles, and they still miss plenty of calls when it's one play at a time, right in front of their faces. Soccer ref has to run up and down, 80 yards at a time, see plays behind him and between players. Impossible task to get it barely right.
Forget about the sanctity of the referee who can't be asked to see everything. All this complicated goal line technology, IVR bullcrap. Just have 1 or two officials watch every game in the booth (instead of on the sideline or behind the goal where they do nothing), with replay abilities, and let them call down on obvious impactful errors: offside, goal or no goal, fouls in box, serious foul play. Go away with your "flow of the game" rant.
