Ever since I found out Jimmy John's makes their sandwich workers sign a non-compete agreement I refuse to eat there. I worked for enough idiots working my way through college as a fried chicken cook and at Burger King. Sandwich technology has been around long enough that there is no secrets to steal. I just find whole idea too stupid to support such assholes. Besides, there are much better sandwich places.

Had never heard that.

Non competes in CA are typically unenforceable in my (limited) experience unless there is some ownership involved

Having said that, I prefer Jersey Mike’s for a fast food sub.
