True, but as long as there are 9 players left, who didn't make DA, they can keep their spot. Those are basically considered second teams so I would doubt it
That makes sense, hence the 7 brackets, bracket winners to fill the 7 spots. If any less number of spots, there will be an elimination round, hence a possible round 2?My guess is you won't see 9 players drop. But sure it's possible I guess.
At this point the returning teams or auto qualifiers you can count on would be
SDSC
Beach Hodson
IE Surf
Schedule notes a round 2 for 2003 age group. That makes sense, hence the 7 brackets, bracket winners to fill the 7 spots. If any less number of spots, there will be an elimination round, hence a possible round 2?
If they treat it the same way they did for the 04's you will see some of these teams with automatic bids.Any chance Beach, Legends and Carlsbad have enough returning players on their DA2 teams to keep the qualifying spots?
Where is this info?If they treat it the same way they did for the 04's you will see some of these teams with automatic bids.
There are 4 spots available. Weekend #2 will be 4 groups of 4 winners claim the spots. At 04 LAGSD, Beach, and LAGSB all had their second teams get automatic bids. I've also heard the same for LAGSD 03.

Yes top 2 plus 2 wild cards. Not sure why they don't just do top 1 plus 1 wild card, and take 4 from there.CRL website originally stated top 2 finishers move on to second round. There are 8 spots left to be determined because of the rain outs, however in the second round there are 10 spots available. Are they possibly taking 2 wild cards? Anyone have any ideas?
That's confirmed. That's seems crazy to me if true
