Temecula United now SCDSL

Likely the perceived competitive disadvantage of being in Presidio when all the Temecula Valley clubs are SCDSL (but for Southwest SC, which is CSL). Whether its right or wrong, Presidio is viewed by both the Development and Coast league teams as glorified Rec. When you look at National Cup teams that make it through bracket play, I would be surprised if Presidio has any teams in the field. In addition, from just a pure geographical sense, having TU in SCDSL is going to be much less travel for the parents as this year it would have represented the furthest northern team. TU and Temecula FC are the budget clubs in the area. It will be interesting to see how their teams compete against the lower tiers of Arsenal (Boys DA and ECNL), Legends (Girls DA). Murrieta Surf (Boys DA younger). With the addition of TU (Presidio) and Temecula FC (Coast and Presidio last year) the club that could be the most impacted is the Hawks because there is no upper level play path from the Hawks except for CRL (i.e. no DA o r ECNL teams).
