AC Brea is proud to announce our acceptance into the US Club Soccer Player 1st Licensed Clubs. Being a member of a Players First club signifies that you are a part of a club that is providing support in five key areas: Club Development, Coaching Development, Player Development, Parent Engagement & Education and Player Health & Safety. It also means that your club creates a positive, holistic experience for every child participating in the club.

 
It sounds good....but once you look at all the average clubs around the nation who are P1 clubs it takes the excitement out of it. Some very good clubs too but then some average so it's not as elite as it sounds.

It’s just another marketing gimmick.

Haven't they run out of Kool Aid yet?
 
It means that your club filled out the application, paid the fee and then transferred the cost of said fee on to parents. And the license is a two year license but don't expect your fees to drop slightly next year when they don't owe the fee. lol.

The only neutral body assessing clubs around the world is DoublePass. It's intensely robust and thorough... thus why most clubs don't use it or don't post their DoublePass score.
