Univ of Oregon womens coach abusive?

This is probably the best description. Parents - do not tolerate it. It's a drug. It's a temporary high that causes permanent damage to your child's brain.
I tried to speak up but I got squashed like a little bug.

If you spoke to the coaches or DOCs like the way you conduct yourself here, I can totally understand that.
Thanks, Fudd. Attack the victims like you always do. I am a little emotional and wear my emotions on my sleeve asshole!!!

Wake up folks. espola the Doc is now in sessions. I spoke up when others would not. I was so nice to the Doc and coaches. It's when they started lying, yelling at the girls and not taking responsibility for harming young girls mentally that I started going off. I and my dd were never interested in college soccer. She just loved to play. At U14, assholes like espola are in charge.

Well, I just got word of a very sad and sick coach who has no business making $175K a year abusing young adult women. It's about to hit the news wire. Wake up parents, people like this espola avatar want your kids to suffer, be abused mentally, sexually targeted, forced to kneel, forced to take all the jabs so they can be abused and threaten with scholarship being taken away. My God parents, wake up.

There are multiple false or misleading statements in this post.

Who is it? Don't you have a duty to parents to warn them whom to stay away from?

I have done my duty on here asshole. To all parents. This espola fella is why college soccer sucks. This man has no respect for women.

Aren't you protecting the coach whose name you refuse to state here?
Let me ask you a question espola. Do you have a dd looking to ball in college? I don't refuse to state the name. Why do you even fucking care loser? The parent will post when he/she/they/them are ready to post what their daughter experienced with an asshole coach. I shared my personal experience back in 2018 when the former UCLA head Coach came to the Polo Fields to run practice and to get a good look at the little 6th, 7th and 8th graders. That lady was mean and last I heard got suspended from soccer.

I have been reading this thread with great interest to see if anyone would bring up behavior at the club level. There is absolutely a difference in demanding and demeaning and they 100% exist in club as well. You want to play ECNL in a competitive marketplace? You can bet your a$$ these clubs tolerate bad behavior if they believe there is an ROI to be had. The really unfortunate issue at the club level is two fold - the power dynamic between a coach and a minor athlete is one, with the expectation that a minor will voice their concern over the treatment they are receiving from a person of authority. The second is the lack of clarity around reporting misconduct (outside of felony material) to the appropriate entities. Safesport, while nice in concept, is not as useful as they make themselves seem. Yates' report made mention several times that emotional and psychological misconduct is embedded in the youth elite levels as well. That's where it becomes normalized and why players, as they get older, don't speak up.
Absolutely!! The worst part is the parents who are willing to sacrifice the well being of their own child. The abuse is allowed so the “child” may one day have an opportunity to play on the top team. While the child is being conditioned to accept abuse. The club will use scare tactics of being black balled & labeled to keep everyone in line.

It is absolutely sickening to see & parents need to speak up in order for anything to change.

The abuse to the women is systematic and it all starts at the youth level (Yates Report). I tried to speak up but got squashed like a little bug. Parents know if you speak up or if the player does, nothing happens to coach and the player is labelled. Dad is labelled as hawk dad. It's sad but true. I lived it :(
I’m sorry to hear that you & your child went through that. Props to you for speaking up, more parents need to do the same.

I still don't see a coach's name in there. Don't you want to scoop what is about to come out on the news wire?

Thank you. I was told by everyone to STFU or my precious dd would be blackballed and retaliated against and boy was she. My girl just loved to play soccer with her friends and then middle school came. She was on top of the soccer world so to speak. She had a very nice 18 month run in SoCal. Leading scorer at FarWest regional. Game tying goal with no time left on the clock and she nailed it to help Surf advance to the US Youth Soccer Championship in Texas in 2017. Got the first goal to help Surf win #10 National Championship. That was just the beginning. The San Jose Earthquakes had the 2nd best team in the country. We played them and my little one scored two goals to help Surf stay #1 beating those Quakes 2-0. Quakes had 5 UCLA commits and Stanford commits. Word got out to Coach Amanda. The next week I get a call from coach saying AC is coming to town to run the practice to get a good and up close and personal look at my girl. I didn't tell my girl because I don't like to put pressure on her. Anyway, my dd likes to have fun with the girls and AC does not and her tryout didn't go so well. I got a call from coach, and he said, "Your dd just blew her chance at UCLA." I was pissed and said, "wow coach, I didn't know this was a tryout. Is it within the rules for all these college coaches to run practices for Surf?" Months later we each got with coach to see what colleges our dd's wanted to go to, and he said, "please don't say UCLA." The whole experience was horrible for young girls and the pressure they put on them. Docs and Coaches make over $175K and what do the girls get?

I bet you would like a scoop of the next coach to be an asshole to one of our daughters. I will let the parent do it. Stay tune espola. It's great to see how much you care about the girls and the parents.
