If you win how do you not advance in state cup?
The terms of a tournament are published right? If you don't like the terms don't sign up.
After signing up whinny about the bracket draw is entertaining but your kid just wants to play so let the chips fall where they may and don't worry about the draw.

The 2 best teams should always play themselves and changing the format after the Tournament started is already a big red flag
The real problem is that typically in a cross-over format (currently being used at the 2011 and 2010 President's Cups) its not the winner of each group, but the two teams with the most points regardless of group. If they ran a proper cross-over the two best teams would play in the final regardless of group. CalSouth is doing some wierd hybrid format as if it's normal pool play even though its a cross-over.
Brackets teams are some times switched around before the game schedules are published.
It's ulittle soccer should be about playing and developing, fun to win but if your already wrapped up getting the "easiest" or most "difficult" opponent in a tournament draw your setting yourself up for "execues" later. Kids play the game not any of this other noise.
Some get more motivated by being the underdog while other relish being the favorite, part of the journey so embrace that and enjoy.
Cal South doesn't really care that much about the draw they just want to see their Tournament play and collect some $$. There not corrupting or doing anything to influence any outcomes, they make some strange choices on formats sometimes but so do others.

You're drivel about a tournament draw is not going to help your player or team so go ahead and continue missing the train.
It's going to leave without you and you can watch it go by and the other teams play.

Yeah I'm a big Cal South fan if you follow my history.
My youngest kid wasn't a CS member after U12.
He did enjoy the 9 games to win it all, 5 different venues, crazy weather, etc , we didn't talk about who they where playing but focused on how they where playing.
corrupting is you, just look in the mirror.
Your team has a draw that's you don't think is favorable so therefore it has to be corrupt.
Somebody is out to get your "poor" little team and make sure they can't earn they way by winning. Instead of acceptaning or embracing the competition your blaming others for being "corrupt" .

The elevator still doesn’t hit all the floors with you my friend.... go back to the beginning of the post and read were it was said that the compliant was about the draw...... everyone that ole played and are giong to are giong end up in wins.... the compliant is that if a team wins all the thier games without any losses ... how do they not move foward in the tournament? In a cross over tournament its the teams with the most points that advance... in pool play... bracket play ... the teams always play the teams in there bracket and whoever comes out on top advances.... neither of those two scenarios are happening... This is a straight out highway robbery... and if you cant see that .. I can refer you to a ophthalmologist...

You don't like the format so it's some how not fair but everyone is playing the same teams. If your team doesn't advance because they don't win the tie breakers that's how the tournaments work.
It's not highway robbery it happens all the time, tie breakers decide get over it.
You're complaing non stop, it's not fair like a 2 year old who doesn't get the same pacifier as one of their siblings.
He's probably coaching or training his kid to get the job done in the last game so he's doesn't have to come here and cry about how unfair the bracket and tie breaker rules are.
My player was knocked out of 2 tournaments in a row on tie breakers when he was younger. Sure it's not fun and I'm no advocate of certain formats but they learned, adjusted and where able to win the next go around.
PK's, tie breakers, OT golden goal in HS all part of the game. In HS most leagues don't even use GA, GF, GD to decided league winners if tied on points. Extra game decides which some like and others don't. In any case everyone is playing under the same rules so it's fair.

Your just being ignorant.... no point in responded to you anymore.... tiebreakers, GD is all part of the game.... but when you put the best teams in one bracket and dont get the opportunity to play them ....to earn the right to be the TOP SEED.... Thats a Highway Robbery... never in my 30 years of soccer have I ever seen a tournament ran this way... complete corruption. And I can tell your Moral Compass is all jacked up.. Because when those parents have to explain to their kids that all the Handwork and winning is not enough..... and the team that you dominated and shouldn’t even be on the field with them is advancing with 2 loses compared to your zero losses... Thats a Sinister problem. Is winning that important that you have to rig the tournament to get your way... unbelievable.... and for your information ELEVATOR....it’s obvious your an OLE hater... and whats funny about this I dont even have a kid on that team... Cheating and Corruption has no place in kids sports period.

Did they not follow that?
My suggestion based on personal experience is that the complaints could have been snubbed by having a semi-final round -- First of each group against the second of the other. It would only have cost those teams an extra game's worth of referee fees.

You win the award for the biggest....
I don't even know who OLE is never heard for them.
You signed up for a tournament and now you don't like how it was bracketed or the rules so go cry somebody else the river or find another tournament where the brackets are never going to be cross over play.
Might want to read the rules before you apply next time so you can't whine no stop about how corrupt the tournament is so your team has a better chance of advancing out of a bracket since they didn't win there own bracket.
