Glock 17

I just sharpened my sword fellas and have the Spirit of William with me. Let's hope for peace but be prepared for battle. The Imperialist vs The Rest of Us. Choose wisely :)

That light will also work well on an AR with rails or a length of picatinny attached to your handguard. Also Dominic if you happen to have the original mags of your pistol, they fetch a premium outside of CA, like $60-100 per mag.

So I tried to install the olight on the bottom rail and my gun is so old it doesn't have a grooved rail. Anyone interested in a olight for $80 ? OLIGHT Baldr Pro 1350 Lumens Tactical Weaponlight with Green Light and White LED, 260 Meters Beam Distance Compatible with 1913 or GL Rail, Powered by 2 x CR123A Batteries (Black)
If you have a Gen 1 G17, get a ReCover pic rail adapter. Shouldn't cost that much: 20-30 bucks. Should do the trick. Should be able to find them on Amazon or the glock store.

Not the best out there I know.

Just stumbled onto this thread. I know it's over a year old..but for anyone else out there looking at a future purchase.
Olight does make good stuff. A shooting buddy of mine is a fan boy. Lol
I prefer Streamlight only because they work as well as Surefire..but without the price. I can put a TLR-1HL on two different pistols for what one X300 will cost. The other big issue is if you decide down the road to get a holster for your G17. Not to say you won't find one for your G17 w/Olight.
But there's a much bigger selection for many pistols out there with a Surefire or Streamlight mounted on the front end. Trying to find a holster to also have to fit that ReCover is not going to be easy. Unless this is a strictly HD gun.
That's plenty of light. My Streamlight puts out 1000 lumens..enough to light up the hallway while holding in a "high-ready" and have enough light spill around to not have to flag anyone.
And if your G17 is an early generation..but another one!! ;)
And ammo prices still suck. Some deals are out there but they usually don't last long.

$60-100 per mag?! Is this because they are early gen mags? Because if we're simply talking mag capacity.."standard" capacity mags that are legal in most other states run around $30+/- for a 17rd mag. Can't see anyone paying double..again unless they're somehow marked early-gen mags and considered collector's items. Besides..if he bought his gun way back when..those mags should be grandfathered in and he's legal to have them. Same thing if you bought "standard" capacity mags a few years ago during "Freedom Week." He should have a 17rd loaded for HD vs a neutered 10rd mag.

All my Glocks are set up the same. Ameriglo Hackathorn Night Sights. Talon Grips. Streamlight TLR-1HL on the G17/G22. These are HD guns. Streamlight TLR-7A on both G19s. These are CCW guns.
