G2010...how’s the season going 2019?

I don't think it's constructive criticism to say on a public forum that the lateral movement of the defense is at fault for the loss. Do you think that if the defense did more lateral sprints on their off day, they would have beat the Blues? Did he say anything about the Midfielders not anticipating the ball well enough and dropping deep enough to cover? Or whether the frontline put enough pressure to prevent the big forward pass? Maybe he should have said the team needs to work on cutting off passing angles at the defensive third more, that includes his player and is constructive. To blame the lost on defenders for not running sideways fast enough is not constructive.

Like you, I've read all of what Luis has written since he's jumped on this website. I even gave him the benefit of the doubt when he went on here at the beginning and was criticizing his team. He deleted all those posts after some of us on the forum gave him some constructive criticism. Then he gets comfortable and starts doing it again after a finals loss to the Blues. He couldn't control himself because he let the emotion of a Ulittle final game loss takeover his self control. Choking under pressure?

I agree that not all parents can accept criticism about their children but that has nothing to do with Evelyn's right to give constructive criticism to Luis on a public forum.

Evelyn is giving him constructive criticism. She's clearly telling him, if you have something constructive as a parent within a team, talk to the coach and parents, don't go on a local public forum and vent. Go to the Texas or Norcal forum, make up a fake team name and ask for advice there.

Luis is not listening to what people are telling him. His actions affect kids and parents on the team, including his own kid and wife. His wife and kid don't want him at the games. Yet he chooses to ignore everyone else in his life in order to satisfy his need to blame other people for losses, including 8/9 year old players, a coach that is developing all his players, and parents bc he thinks they don't take enough of his advice.
I couldn't agree more. Honestly, that's why it took me so long to post because I know that's no end to this. According to him, the rest of us on the team don't get it. My intention was not only to give feedback to Andres, but also in hopes to represent our team well. Andres has every right to think the way he does, but it's not representative of the rest of the team. I've ignored the sexist comments on the forum (women being the ones having the problem or creating a soap opera) to avoid getting sidetracked. It's only a reflection of the commentators. I'm out....this site is too addictive and I can see it being the #guiltypleasure ;) Enjoy!

Ohh no...you can assure that for sure and everyone here knows that as well. Thanks for stopping by.

This is where you are missing and not seeing the big picture...will get back on this view To be continued.....Gotta go handle business matters. This forum can get too addicting. Or I'll be the one going out of business soon lol..

Heyyyy, we can agree again. It is addicting and personally too time consuming for me. A very unproductive day for me; I don't know how you all do it. :)

This is my last response to you...and congratulations you get the last word. As we both said before, it's pointless to get through to one another. What I will tell you though is that Roy feels the same way I do. He just doesn't feel he needs to come on the forum to tell you; when the time is right he will. Wishing you the best! Out!

Thank you for throwing it out there...No need to do so as you mentioned it now. Would be ridiculous of him when you already spoiled his surprise. Why am I not surprised with this last post of yours #smh Had to get last word in cause Evelyn never loses either

Hell yes it is addictive EJ was naughty and Luis took over when I got the boot from Dom. Timing was perfect . EJ put dumb ads on here for the "SoCal Elites Soccer Parents Academy" and I went on many rants well into the nights. Map was kind enough to set me straight with a dose of reality that my goat was not a true Unicorn (first time I heard that term for a GOAT). After much research, my dd dream of playing at UCLA was over in a blink of reality all because she didn't get on that list. It was hard to take but we have moved on. In Fact, this place slapped me hard and now it's Luis turn. @Mars Speed guy went away but not Luis. Got a give the guy some credit :)

It's good to know people are on here with experience and learn from it too. Unfortunately, it's not like that for everyone. I'm glad you continue to give your insight though. Enjoy!

@Sockers858 Seeing this here puts a smile on my face and makes my day...The wifey just sent it to me. Must mean schedule is out

Ruinning in angles on the defensive third. Come on Emma get your facts straight. The first goal was a penalty, the second goal she was defending with another player who clearly had the position advantage ahead of the Blues player and got out hustled to the ball by the Blues player who was behind her and beat her to the ball. The third goal she was running in an angle on the defensive third of the field to back up the left back that was in an attempt to save the play because the right back was way out and left her area unprotected. My criticism to her when I discussed the play with her was that she could have ran a little faster to cover the missed tackle by the LB and block the shot but she said I had to play it safe because there was a player behind me in my area that would have been left open to receive the pass and have a direct shot at the goal. I said yes you are right. But most likely the girls would not have thought about that pass since most kids that age don't see that. But sure in essence she did the right thing and not leave the middle completely exposed for a pass and an easier undefended shot at goal. To say that she was not running in angle to cut off the shot. Trust me I appreciate and love when my DD gets criticized because I'm gonna make sure she understands her mistake and it will improve her game. So if there is another play at goal with her mistake in running an angle on the defensive third that gave away a goal that I missed on the video please point it out to me cause I missed it. Notice how she looks back and is aware of the player behind her.

That's what the Blues call, "never stop and always go to the goal and score. Love the hustle and the finish. Is this 6 x 6?

Luis - I think you are entertaining but I have a hard time watching U10 soccer, no matter how many Goats are on the field. Once your children grow past that age and you used to the faster speed, and it's hard to go back and watch other people's young children. I wasn't analyzing your daughter's game, just giving you examples of ways to give constructive criticism. It's good to give constructive criticism, but it's how you say it. It's a waste of your constructive skills and time if the message is lost in the time, place and manner in which you give it. The words, manner, timing and location of your "constructive criticism" suggests blame rather than assistance. After a loss, don't post anything about the game for a week. Cool off period. You did fine until you threw the defense under the bus. The score was 3-0, which means the offense wasn't able to produce either.

yes mam you are correct and understand your point. The offense was not able to produce. But I do recognize and give credit to the goalie for all the saves she had and the rest of the players who stopped many goals. This game could have easily been a blow out.

Luis, take a look at the likes for Evelyns first post, top of page 42.

this isnt just a couple of people. there are quite a few who think your comments are out of line.

If you keep it up, Fabi is going to lose opportunities because coaches and parents don’t want to be on a team with you.

I also put a like on it. It was her first and welcome post. I can tell you that a few others there don't care or they are at least hypocrites from the pm's I received from them. Look man at the end of the day you guys see how you see it and its fair and I'll stop and so goes the entertainment. I'm not going up to these little girls and telling them these things. I'm not calling out anyone by any names. And the only ones that are worried about it would be parents on the team who are taking offense to something that is truth. If I was the coach and would have pointed this out, they wouldn't be saying a damn word. And if I ever mentioned it to lets say a person like Evelyn in person. Let me tell you man, she would freak out and try to start WWIII. When I first came to this forum. No one even knew who OLE was. And when I saw the 2011's speaking of the club. It was nothing but trash talk and disrespect to the club. Everyone thought the club was a sham and no one gave them any respect. So what did someone like me who has studied neurolinguistic programming and the concept of pattern interruption to disrupt a public misconception of a club that truly deserved the credit for the great things they are doing with their accomplishments in developing home grown teams that are becoming able to compete with the big dogs out there that recruit players and have all the money and resources needed to get their name out and attract the right type of players? A person who understands social media marketing through platforms like forums and understands that by diffusing the attention of the crowd to a nut like me on here would rock the boat on here and shift the focus my way. Look everyone can talk shit to me about my antics and my whole show on here. But nobody can deny now that Ole is one of the few small clubs out there that knows how to develop homegrown players and teams at the younger ages and have a process that works and is successful. If you all want to know the truth. That was my intent. And if it made a few parents get butt hurt because they can't see the bigger picture. Well then I'll get the last laugh. Cause of the end of the day No one can't say now that OLE is not for real. And the fact I know and witnessed that what Walter is building and has here for the smaller age groups is special and it works. So I stopped all the shit talking that was going on here by creating the Luis Andres show and got the whole forum to know who my DD is and have received numerous emails from recruiters and clubs that are watching the show. I can't stand the fact that there are Clubs like Real Socal trying to destroy the little clubs out here in the area that are truly a gem and do care about the development process. So there you go guys. I've been exposed. But guess what. No one can say now that OLE isn't for Real...

So this whole thing was a marketing campaign for Ole?

Man, I've been bamboozled. I thought it was about a dad living vicariously through his kid, denigrating other players on his team, hyping his daughter excessively, enriching us on the merits of respective national soccer systems that 9 year olds can switch between at will, selling us all on going to Blues, extolling the virtues of dumping a bunch of money into privates, and lamenting the losses at the "big" U10 tourneys.

They don't even know about it they are not on this forum. It's what I saw as an injustice being done to smaller clubs in the area and took offense by everything said here that was being said about the club. It's something I believe small clubs do better at the younger ages but I understand its only sustainable to a certain age group. The big club system works after and provides the proper platform after. Not everything was a show, my thoughts and how I feel about the development process is what I personally feel so yes there is a lot of truth in my writings but the whole act or persona that I created on this forum to players on the team was deliberate pattern interruption technique. A process I started a long time ago when I first tried to get everyone on board to train outside practice and only I and one other person were doing it with the goats.

You do actually know what GOAT stands for, right?

Or are you referring to players who have played for Goats FC?
