2019 Girls 05 DA season

Yes. It’s wrong. Ref must have forgot that we switched sides at halftime.
I thought referees assigned to DA games were the better referees cause that’s basic refereeing 101... “Blue team is going this way I’m the 2nd half”...lol
I guess mistakes happen but I’ve never seen an own goal credited by mistake. Glad the results got corrected.

Random question, how are your players handling 4x week practice and the "DA lifestyle"? Burnout? Injuries? Loving it? Doesn't matter?

My 06 is fine with it, likes her teammates and overall doesn't find it too different to previous years. Still only 2 days proper team practice then a fitness day, 4th day optional. Playing harder games is a definite plus for her development and so is the quality of the fields and available water and trainer on game days. I worry as she gets older pressure to do 4 days will be a drag, but if that's the case hopefully she can do 2-3 depending how strict the rules are.

What year should '05 player attend some college ID camps? Freshman in HS
With the new NCAA rules in effect and my oldest just starting high school I'd say summer after finishing freshman year to get an understanding of what an ID camp is like. I would also only have her attend one that has a school your child is interested in at that moment. You may also want to check what coach from her school of interest will be in attendance.

My 05 is on year two of it. I think she has experienced all of the above. She just started playing club basketball to mix it up tho and that helps. Soccer still remains her first priority
Love fellow keeper parents with daughters that play basketball. My daughter made Varsity this year as a Freshman(and close to breaking into the starting lineup). Nothing like two basketball games and two soccer games to go to every weekend.

We aren't DA, but between 4 hours a week of cross training(agility, weights, speed, pool) at the school during 6th period for basketball, plus 4 hours a week basketball practice, plus 4 hours a week soccer(2 with team, two keeper training), plus another 5 hours a week on weekends with games, definitely keeping an eye on my daughter as that puts her in the 15-20 hours athletic training. The key for her is she is doing a variety of things, thus not too many repetitions of the same thing, plus she has always been a 7 days a week active kid. If she sits for day she gets cranky(which makes us parents cranky).
