G06 Fall Season Discussion & Results

Thought I'd send some props to Legends 06 DA.

Their coach has taken all that talent and athleticism and is teaching them to play some attractive soccer. In previous years they've played connecting up the wings with speed but they're now looking to hold the ball and play side to side and be more thoughtful of why the ball needs to moved in certain directions.

Kudos to them, it was a fun game to watch today as they took on Pats.

I agree with your statement Technician72. They used to play kick and run soccer. Finally, the new coach is teaching them to play possession.

LAFC Slammers 6 - 0 Arizona Arsenal
Unfortunately, with no other top 10 SoCal team in ECNL for this age group, there are probably going to be a lot of 6-0 and 8-0 league games for you this year. At least there should be plenty of good competition for you guys at the various showcases and in playoffs in June.

Agreed. We're headed up to Davis showcase next month and hopefully they schedule us against San Juan and MVLA.

Definitely very big gap in difference in competition from LAFC Slammers and the rest of the conference. With Blues top team going DA, the Blues ECNL team has big shoes to fill.

Overall the top 6 teams should make for some decent to good games.

The bottom 6 however will make for some lopsided results.

This could be said of any league including pro.
