2011 How is the season going?

Legends Classic update for the G2011 age group.
Legends FC team and Eagles are leading their Brackets with 2 wins each.
 
Congratulations to Legends FC for the win but I think if blues 2012 played up in the top bracket they would of win it. Not much competition in that bracket this year.
 
That game has already been played. Legends FC team dominated the Blues 2012 team in spring friendly’s this February/ March.
 
Yes, I have seen that Blues 2012 team play our 2011 team, definitely a great little group, fun to watch and may be at the Father's Day Friendlies.

Last year, there were only 15 teams in g'2011 SCDSL and none in CSL. I am sure there will be a much larger number of teams this year. For the 2011 teams (and g2012-2008) our OC Surf club is putting on their 11th annual Father's Day Friendlies. Last year, there were 28 girls teams and they have been completely full the last 3 of 4 years. Still room in most ages. Below is more info.

No coaching conflicts. 2 games each. $175. Ref fees included. Girls teams only. No player cards needed. Full snack bar and vendors. Sat. June 15 only (Sunday is for families:)
Teams will be accepted until brackets are full.
Appropriate sized fields.
7v7 fields are 60x40 Villa Park HS
9v9 fields are 75x52 Villa Park HS
11v11 pfields 110x75 Serrano Elem (1 block north of Villa Park HS)

SC Blues will have 4 teams. 3 Flight 1's and 1 Flight 2 in G2011. One of the Flight 1's was previously FC Mann U 2011's who played up in CSL Bronze East 2010 league and based out of Eastvale. All the Flight 1's will be very strong.

The Blues top team was not yet finalized. They had a pool of Baby Blues that were still being mixed and matched between two teams.

I was able to watch the Eastvale team play and win a few 2010 tournaments. I would say the blues will have there hands full when they face them in the 2019 blues cup. I think the list of the five teams that was post is correct. Is there a 2011 spring league?

The Eastvale team under FC Mann U is now a Blues team. They both will be playing in the Man City tournament down in SD this coming weekend.

I respect that a lot and hope they have a great season. Legends are always solid and fun to watch. Eagles/surf will have a good group of girls and have always been tough. Blues Have a different 2011 team this year. F Hopefully HB and Newport slammers are competive along with surf and maybe SDSC.

The HB Slammers will be better than the Newport Slammers out the gate as they played in the SCDSL 2010(b) last year. The Newport Slammer team was formed this year.

The Lime team for 2012s has never lost a game and won 3 tournaments this year. had a 35-1 goal dif this weekend at legends

The 2012 Lime team also has adynamo of a striker who will give fits to any 2012 team. A couple of the 2012s can play for the Lime 2011s.
 
Looks like the 2011 mulligan team plays the Eastvale team to start the tournament for them. Could be a preview of the championship game.

Apparently In an earlier post the legends FC team beat the blues 2012 in a scrimmage game. I wonder if it was the B team and not the lime team.

It was the B team, Legends is a amazing club tons of respect a privilege to play. we are trying to set a game up in july vs the Lime team.

Maybe the 2012 Lime team was not yet finalized, don't know for sure. I know they entered the Eagles tournament and lost both games to 2011s.

Blue team went 1-2 scored 10 goals in the tournament.

Blues 2012 team is out here killing it this weekend at man city. They tied the eagles 3-3. And beat 2 2011 teams. They are fun to watch.
 
2011 Blues Mulligan captured the Man City Cup this past weekend. Had an opportunity to watch Eagles, SD Surf, Blues Mulligan and SD force and Blues 2012 team as well as Blues Eastvale play in the 2011 bracket. All teams looked great and much improvement from teams I watched months ago (Eagles, Blues 2011, Eagles, Blues 2012). Should be an interesting year as teams develop and gain confidence.
