Sheriffs Futbol Club Update?

It looks like there must have been some activity since this release mid-December that allowed some Sheriffs teams to continue playing. The MLS teams, and a handful of the other existing teams show game results as recently as this past weekend.

They have 18 teams playing in the spring. All on some sort of fee-to-play model.

The club was touted as being the answer and model to the pay-to-play problem. But with nonprofit/community funding, the focus will always be quantity over quality. If the funding can serve more kids playing rec, that’s what makes sense.

What happened at Sheriffs FC??? This bums me out to read, what they were doing gave me hope.

They have teams playing this season. I think they probably were able to charge parents and fundraise to keep this season but not sure about the future. Basically have to move towards pay-to-play.
