Girls played well. Not 100% sure on Aztecs’ team composition this year vs last, but happy with result, especially in light of our loss today. Shot you a DM re: opinions. Ha!

Definitely some battles going on in SCDSL. Must be great to watch.

Congrats in order for Beach and Legends, but not completely shocking. I thought Legends was the best team we have played perhaps alongside Eagles and Beach.

Wow, what a day today! I will say don’t count any team out. Today Eagles played Golden State, our girls thought they would roll through them. Mistake, I don’t know what happened, did Golden State show up or did eagles get over confident. Time will tell, our Eagles have a tendency to play to our competition, we have proved we can beat the top teams and have shown we have our weaknesses. After today’s game it will be a experience and what our girls can do.
 
Indeed. Maybe not so much for your Eagles but for everyone else in CSL SE the days of easy, large wins are gone (which is a good thing, by the way) and if you don't have the right approach to the game you'll be in trouble with anyone.
And it looks like we are seeing the same thing on the other side (SCDSL), where the once invincible top teams are getting their business handed to them week in and week out.
 
Where are our friends from the SD side of the house? Been interesting how things have formed up over there. Liverpool used to be the team to beat...but I think this is the year where SD Surf makes the transition from being everybody's whipping boy to being a top team (similar to how Surf 08's have been improving). Albion and SD Force look solid...and looks like Scripps make some improvements and is competing?
 
According to YSR, Liverpool is 1-2-1 in the first 4 games of league, so they are going through a slow start apparently.
