If you are only interested in DA for your dd, why bother with the "other" tryouts?

I guess Beach could use the first set of tryouts to see which players are interested in their program and then start inviting select players to the DA tryouts. However, I suspect the first round or couple of rounds of DA tryouts will be open to all that are interested.

I would say that the more exposure the better, especially if your DD doesn't end up making the DA. I would assume DA coaches will be at the age group sessions, but the other coaches won't be attending the DA sessions.

For clarification regarding the DA tryouts...
If you are not a current Beach FC player, the DA tryouts/sessions are invite only.
Not open tryouts/sessions?

I think I can help you with that one as it was explained to me. All players (both Beach and Non Beach) are required to attend the Clubs Age Group Try-Outs. Invitations for the Non Beach Players will be sent out based on the Age Group Try Outs.

There are no Open Training sessions planned.

Anyone know why DeMelo got the DA II team for the 03's versus the DA I team? Seems like he would have been a perfect coach for the DA I team.

On a related matter, what about Hodson? He has an A license.

In the event you're being serious....

Congrats to your daughter for making an ECNL team with minimal club experience

Good luck to your DD
