Games of the Week

It did after the first half when Slammers were down 3-0...
Desperate times calls for desperate measures. The style of play definitely did not deserve any praise. But it's the top tier and winning comes over development.

I don't know about all that. The development really occurs during trainings. In the final, playing for a trophy, I'm thinking that's an ok time to do what it takes to win. And, to go long ball to give yourself a chance to win is development. Teaches the boys to be flexible with their strategy, and that sometimes your style is not going to be successful and you need to switch it up.

Depends on your definition of the above. Getting "more physical" can mean just overwhelm the refs with fouls, which doesn't help development at all. If the getting more physical means trying harder and being quicker to body out and not allow yourself to get pushed off a ball, than sure, do it....but you really should be doing that way the whole time, right? 8))

Congrats to Strikers and Slammers to made it to the end at Vegas Cup
It was a great tournament.
nice experience to play vs strikers. (Great team)
I thought all was under control playing very hard both sides during first half. Then, after few bad calls against us affected us drastically.
But I personally enjoyed the game a lot.
Congrats again!
Hopefully see you guys in our RR this February

I agree, it was a great game, but you're implying the outcome was "affected drastically by bad ref calls." Do you think the final outcome (Striker win) should have been different if not for "bad ref calls"?

I am not taking any credits off Strikers. NO doubt that team is strong. Strikers won't waste any opportunity to score under any circumstances, bad calls where the key for strikers to score 2 goals on us.
1. the second goal was already on my keeper hands when it was kicked off by striker player. (that was a foul from strikers instead a goal). everybody knew it, even the ref when I showed him the video hours later
2. the 3rd goal was granted thanks a free kick, that it was a clean slide tackle but seen as foul on refs eyes.
legit 1st and great 4th goal, no doubt.
So, I think the outcome it will have been different, if those bad calls had never been marked. But, don't take it wrong. I really enjoyed the game, even when we lost that game. To me, it was the most valuable game for Celtic in that tournament.
Championship well deserved for Strikers. Congrats again.
I really like the fact the teams are improving and fighting side by side with anybody. Slammers did great on Vegas Cup, LA Galaxy Pre- Academy tied 1-1 vs Legends at Silverlakes, Boca Jrs doing good staff too. I really want to watch the competition level on National Cup.
By the way, our RR will have LA Gaxy Pre-Academy and Slammers, we still have two spots available for National Cup teams only.

We are in different channels bro.

Albion vs Surf in CRL this weekend should be a good one. I am not sure it will be played due to the rain on the way.

Albion should win this one. They have a big game changer playing the 9. And their pretty much even everywhere else.
