At some point when do they start shortening games to get everything played? Or call everyone with a turf field in so cal (high schools, lake forest sports park, Vista Hermosa sports park, stub hub center, Qualcomm, usc, UCLA and put every game on a turf field and get it done?

They are going to have to run this like a weekend tourney. Two games a day with round of 16 on Sunday. This goes for National Cup as well.

Yup! But their running out of time to get all these competitions done. Otherwise they have and will continue to butt up on one another.

It is messing with CRL's schedule, too.
The rule of thumb with Oceanside is that any rain on Wed/Thur is basically a death nail. The fields were built on a retired "silica mine" and are in a constant state of settling. This creates drainage issues, which impacts field set up and takes SoCal out of commission. It can be fixed, but its going to cost big bucks. Its really unfortunate.
