Discovery games cancelled.

SILVER ELITE
All 3 pm and 5 pm games at Silver Lakes were cancelled due to air quality and wind. Rescheduled for Nov. 18.
 
I DD had a playoff game at 10. The wind was ridiculous. By the second half, the ball would do a 180 midair. Every goal kick had to be held in place to kick, and then they all went straight out of bounds. The games should have been cancelled. Luckily my dd's team had a wind aided goal in the first half when the gusts were under 60 mph.
 
Same here. My DD played at 9:35am and according to the Corona Airport website the winds was at 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Super crazy. Each goalie had to make some crazy saves when they were each in the south goal, and because of that our game actually ended 0-0 and went to PKs which was nuts.
Hopefully next weekend games at Silverlakes won’t be that windy.

Wind more than 30 mph with gusts up to 70 mph in Norco per google. This is what a couple friends who'd traveled up from San Diego told me too, easily the windiest they've experienced and almost impossible for the kids to play.
 
My DD said this was the worst wind conditions she has ever played under, we were at silverlakes. We all have sand in our mouth, ears and nose.
 
That’s not just sand. I’m sure there’s a bit of horse poop mixed in with it.
