Impressive, but how much influence drove that decision.
I can't imagine a kid at this age to really understand or know what college would be a good fit for her.
Great athlete, and I'm sure she will be reconsidering as she mature.

- All but one of the players on the U.S. roster played in the recently completed first season of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy.
Interesting about this is it shows 3 players rostered from Orange and San Diego County Surf.

No players from Blues or Slammers.

Us soccer just announced...or will.be shortly....they are splitting the 02/03 age group for SW Conference only.....last conference call happened this morning....coaches are calling here trying to fill a few open spots now
No players from Blues or Slammers were in the player pool going into the June Camp.

Clubs have two options in the Southwest only.
1. They have two separate groups completely, 1. 02 group 1. 03 group
2. They keep current 02/03 team intact, and they play in the 02 age bracket for league play, and likewise for Showcase, etc.

One of the players on the roster also has their mom as an assistant coach at the u14 camps...and is a scout for the SW conference. I believe they failed to mention that in the snippet they did on her .
